fingersHope Unlimited was formed in December of 1989 in response to the overwhelming needs of women facing crises pregnancies in the Paducah - McCracken county area. At that time, Murray had its crisis pregnancy center, but the much more densely populated area of Paducah and the surrounding counties was without a pro-life alternative for women in crisis.

Today, Hope Unlimited has a Board of Directors of eight members from different area churches and has been serving eight Western Kentucky counties since the doors opened for clients in December of 1990. Offering free pregnancy testing, friendship and someone to talk to, along with education on abortion and its alternatives, free maternity and baby clothes, baby furniture, diapers and formula, and a large assortment of baby care needs, Hope is extending a helping hand and a listening ear to women in the Paducah area.

girlHope Unlimited is a non-profit organization whose goal is to minister out of Christian compassion to women undergoing crisis pregnancy. What is a crisis pregnancy? A crisis pregnancy is any pregnancy that is either unexpected or unwanted. A woman facing a crisis pregnancy may be married, unmarried, black or white, rich or poor, well-educated or uneducated. She may be your neighbor or she may be your daughter. It is our goal to take the crisis out of the pregnancy through necessary help, emotional support, and the victory that comes through the love of Jesus Christ.

Located at 1101 Jefferson St, Hope Unlimited depends on the generosity of churches, businesses and individuals for its support. Unlike abortion clinics which thrive on the profits of young women's abortions, Hope Unlimited never charges a fee for any of their services. They do not receive any state or governmental funding, but instead are in existence because of the tax-deductible contributions given by businesses, individuals and churches or civic groups. The office is open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. Clothes are distributed by a group of volunteers who spend many hours in the clothing ministry.

Hope Unlimited has at its disposal a number of wonderful educational speakers available to speak at churches, schools, civic groups or any gathering wanting to know more about Hope and its ministry. They can be contacted by telephone at (270)442-5842. Anyone needing services of the center should call the Hope line at (270)442-1166. Please feel free to visit our office at any time, we would love to meet you!
